Friends Fostering a New Beginning
The Joey Wilkins Foundation was founded in 1999 as a result of an accident that left an employee of the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau partially paralyzed due to a spinal cord injury.
Since its inception the Foundation has invested over $500,000 in home remodeling and transportation to help those recently paralyzed due to spinal cord injury, continue to live a productive life of independence.
Since 1999 the Foundation has focused assistance on over 23 individuals in Grapevine and the surrounding communities.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Joey Wilkins Foundation provides financial assistance to individuals with catastrophic spinal cord injuries. The foundation focuses on people in the North Texas area and focuses on assisting with mobility issues. Medical and emergency needs may be considered on a case-by-case basis in Grapevine and neighboring communities.
